Blast from the Past

The Cutting Edge Magazine Archive
1991 - 1994 (www.thomasterry.com/cuttingedge)

During my work with KLYT Radio in the late eighties to mid-nineties I served as the editor of Cutting Edge Magazine. As New Mexico's only conservative print publication, Cutting Edge served an important need in the state, shedding light on issues in a way not normally seen in most New Mexico media.

My service ended in December 1994 when I left New Mexico to join Campus Crusade for Christ as a media-oriented missionary.

Thanks to the thoughtfulness of those who kept certain issues of the magazine in their files I am now able to post a limited archive of my articles and commentaries (strangely known in those days as "commenterries"). Some of the most significant issues we published, including very controversial issues on AIDS and Sex Education still remain at large.

Help us build the archive by locating old issues of Cutting Edge! If you or someone you know still has an old copy of a Cutting Edge issue in a file somewhere, then drop a voice mail with details to: (505) 349-0399.

This online archive only contains my articles, not the full text of the magazine. Some of the material was copyrighted only for single use at the time of publication. Frankly, I'm also short on time to transcribe every article of every issue (apologies to Odd Sonar, Bvd). I hope to add full versions at a later date. Some of the text presented has been altered slightly to clean things up, but each piece reads nearly identical to the original.

If you read an article and wonder, "Why is this clown using outdated information?" then say to yourself, "Doh! It's an ARCHIVE.
