Angels and the Abstract
Part of my photographic work in Mongolia includes images of ice formations on glass. These spectacular images were shot through a large glass window at the construction site of Eagle TV's news studio. I love these shots simply because of what they represent.
Behind the glass are containers and refuse strewn about a large lot—but you would never know it looking at these prints. The distortion effect of the old Russian-style glass, combined with the lighting, and colors from the outside refuse emphasized crystal patterns in the ice not usually noticed.
These images are, to me, indicative of a life transformed by Jesus Christ. The sin that hides within us is transformed into something altogether unexpected, and lovely, when the blood of Christ is applied to our lives.
Thanks to those who have purchased these prints in support of our work in Mongolia. Each of these prints, and other related items are available in our Cafe Press store.
